Fruit and Spice Park Summer Fruit Festival, June 15–16
On Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. booths full of local agriculture and tropical fruits will be set up across Fruit & Spice Park to celebrate the emergence of summertime fruit. Guests can sip smoothies, or savor tropical-fruit ice cream while listening to live entertainment with steel drum music. Families can enjoy a variety of youth activities, such as an interactive kids' zone with a Little Farm petting zoo, pony rides, a water-balloon toss, and a watermelon-eating contest. On Tuesday, June 18 , 7:00pm – 9:00pm, Beer Dinner at Biscayne Tavern at b2 at miami downtown to kick off of their monthly series of craft beer dinners. Five-course dinner where each dish is paired with a Brewery Ommegang craft beer: Candied Swine paired with a Game of Thrones, iron throne blonde ale (on tap); Korean Kalbi Grilled Chicken Wings and a Hennepin Farmhouse Saison to help wash it down; the third course, a Kale Caesar matched with a tasty Fleur de Houblon Summer Ale (on tap); the fourth course, Long Bone Short Rib Pot Roast ‘En Cocotte’ complimenting an Abbey Dubbel Ale.
