The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s (GMCVB) Miami Spice, celebrates its 10th anniversary August 1 – September 30, 2011 with over 125 participating restaurants (a Miami Spice record), providing three-course lunch ($22) and dinner ($35) menus, excluding gratuities.

The kick off event will take place on Thursday, July 28, from 7-9 p. m., at the Miami Beach Convention Center at 1901 Convention Center Drive, with live entertainment, tastings, live cooking demos by chefs Michael Schwartz and Tom Azar (City Hall the Restaurant), a VIP area featuring live performances from the world-famous Cirque Eloize and luxurious gift bags, demos, specialty cocktails and book signings by some of the area’s top chefs.
Tickets are $50 per person in advance and $100 per person on the day of the event; VIP tickets are $125 and include a special reception beginning at 6 p.m., complimentary sponsor specialty drinks and complimentary self-parking adjacent to the event hall.
