Throughout November, Talavera and Executive Chef Oscar del Rivero celebrate three years of authentic Mexican cuisine with a special “Best of Talavera” tasting menu including  Queso Frito ($11) Crispy melted cheese served with salsa verde and shoestring potatoes;  Ceviche Natural ($11 / 18) with shrimp, scallops, octopus and calamari; Empapelado ($24) Fresh fish with vegetables, baked in parchment paper with a cilantro pesto; Puntas Chipotle ($24) Beef tenderloin tips in tomatillo and chipotle sauces, served with house white rice.    Talavera’s signature “Margarita Lab” happy hour, available Monday through Friday from 6 to 9 pm.   features discounted specialty cocktails including Talavera’s   margaritas, each paired with complimentary sopes appetizers.
