 Michelin-starred Chef Michael Psilakis and restaurateur Donatella Arpaia, co-founders of Eos in Miami, Anthos and Kefi restaurant in Manhattan, have launched bistro e, a lively lunch option for the downtown crowd, on the 15th floor of The Viceroy Miami. A casual and affordable bistro at lunchtime Bistro e becomes the sophisticated Eos restaurant at night.  The farm-to-table menu printed bistro-style on a paper placemat is filled with beautifully plated options ranging from the e³  daily special “$15 on 15th” - a three-course menu du jour selection for “$15   including a pint of beer and an hourglass on the table, to a list  beginning with snacks ($5 to $6) and abundant starters ($ 8 to $9) that could very well pass as main dishes, like the heirloom tomato salad with feta cheese;  the scrumptious white asparagus salad with wild mushrooms, pecorino Romano and a truffled fried egg; an amazing meatball parmigiano slider with fontina cheese on a brioche bun or the Bloody e-Mary black grouper ceviche.
More Than a Snack ($13 to $18) lists grilled San Marzano tomato, mozzarella and basil pizza, 4-cheese ravioli, a huge bowl of spicy Korean BBQ prawns with soba noodle. The inevitable grilled chicken salad here comes with heirloom tomatoes, string beans, mozzarella and olives. The grilled BLT and the Turkey sandwich are not your usual lunchtime quickie. There’s short-rib tostada, pork belly tacos and an ; sandwiches, salads and burgers ($14 - 18), simple chicken with summer vegetables ($14) and a delicious grilled branzino served in an oven-to-table casserole with roasted fingerling potatoes, cherry tomatoes, olives… The e Burger comes with mushrooms, gruyère and  gruyère, caramelized onions and garlic.
Composed dishes or specials (from $16 - 22) includes Linguine with Clams in garlic white wine sauce,  Hanger Steak with crispy potatoes, charred tomatoes, black beans and queso blanco. Then there’s Michael’s lamb burger with Amarillo peppers, feta puree and smashed potatoes and red snapper “plaki” with zucchini, onions, tomatoes and garlic in white wine sauce.
As for beverages, in case you have to get back to work, there is lychee lemonade, ginger hibiscus tea, soda floats, smoothies, shakes and specialty juices ($5 to $8).
