To celebrate the International Year of Quinoa, Alter Eco announces a recipe contest inviting aspiring chefs from across the country to enter.   The Alter Eco Recipe Contest  ends August 11th at 11:59 PM (PT).

One lucky grand prize winner will receive an all expenses paid trip for two (including airfare from anywhere in the continental U.S.) to attend the Culinary Institute of America’s gala – “Ingredients for Impact” on October 6, 2013, in Napa Valley. Four semi-finalists will receive a year of Alter Eco’s high quality quinoa.  Winners will be selected by a panel of Alter Eco staff and a nationally recognized chef.
