6th Annual Taste of Central America @ InterContinental,Doral Miami, 9/ 11 to 15
From September 11 through 15, The InterContinental at Doral Miami will celebrate the 6th Annual Taste of Central America with guest Chef Marcial Cañas, from its sister property in Costa Rica, who will create an array of Central American dishes such as pacayas from Guatemala, pejibaye with mayonnaise and onion from Costa Rica, baleadas from Honduras, pupusas from El Salvador, and guiso de pipián from Nicaragua.
The Armillary Grill will offer a special lunch buffet Wednesday, September 11 to Friday, September 13 ($20.95++ for adults and $12.95++ for children 6-10) , a four-course dinner on Saturday September 14 ($23.95++ for adults and $13.95++ for children 6-10) , and on Sunday, September 15, Central American Independence Day, it will offer a brunch of Central American foods ( $26.95++ for adults and $14.95++ for children 6-10).
This event benefits Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos USA, a mission that strives to provide a permanent family and home for orphaned, abandoned, and at-risk children who live in conditions of extreme poverty. NPH has orphanages in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, among other locations.
