big city tavern_1855 boneless beef short ribsIn time for American Craft Beer Week May 14th – 20th, Fort Lauderdale’s Big City Tavern is introducing two beer-centric dishes to the menu. Chef Louie Bossi’s Prince Edward Island Mussels ($12) are braised in Toasted Blue Point Lager and then tossed with shaved onions, garlic and pecan wood smoked bacon, finished with a touch of cream and served with crusty bread. The1855 Boneless Beef Short Ribs are braised with Young’s Double Chocolate Stout and served with buttery mashed potatoes and oven roasted winter vegetables ($24). These and other dishes on the menu can be paired with one of Big City’s craft beers like the Breckenridge Agave Wheat, Cigar City’s Maduro Brown or the Monk in the Trunk organic brew.
