Kicking off on Tuesday, June 1, Chef Michelle Bernstein’s all-you-can-eat family-style Spanish BBQ priced at $35 is available during dinner service every Tuesday evening,  with a classic Cuban pig roast, slow-cooked in a traditional caja China on SRA.’s patio.  “We wanted to give a classic cajachina backyard barbecue an upscale spin,” says Bernstein.  “Every week the protein will change as will the selection of side dishes.”  June 1st pig roast will be served with heirloom tomato salad with caper berries and Murcia al Vino (a red wine washed Spanish cheese), roasted fingerling potatoes and more.  SRA. Chef Bernstein called the program "Spanish BBQ" because the dishes/weekly themes will be linked to different Spanish/Latin regions and/or cultures. We understand that the caja china is a Cuban cooking device but it lends itself to so much more. Understand that none of the dishes are going to be traditional, per se, but, rather, reflect Chef Bernstein's unique take on them.

Sounds like this is Cuban BBQ. The Spanish (from Spain)don't use a caja China. Are there typical Spanish dishes served here also or just Cuban/Latin ones?
