Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance (SVVGA) is selling tickets for the Fifth Annual VINOLIVO, taking place Friday, February 12th from 7pm -10pm at  Lodge at Sonoma (www.lodgeatsonoma.com).  VINOLIVO marks the largest event of Sonoma Valley’s three-month long Olive Festival, and celebrates the “farm to table” bounty of California’s oldest wine country. 
From artisan olive oils and wines to gourmet food products grown and produced locally, over 60 acclaimed wineries, restaurants and food purveyors will be on hand to showcase  the agrarian diversity that has many calling Sonoma Valley  “America’s Gourmet Basket”. Exclusive Sonoma Valley wine, food and travel packages will be auctioned online before, during and after VINOLIVO. Bidding for these special lots begins Friday, December 18th and runs through Monday, February 16th at www.vinolivo.cmarket.com .Tickets are $65.00 per person in advance by 10pm, February 11th, $75 at the door and $85 per person for Winemaker’s Salon Tickets – and $95 at the door. The Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival puts the fun back in Zinfandel by combining a classic Zin Tasting with a Wine Country Auction on Saturday, March 20, 2010. The evening features two ticket levels; Zinfully Important Person (ZIP) Ticket Level (Entrance at 5:30 p.m.) and Zin Fan Del Ticket Level (Entrance at 7 p.m.). Attendees will enjoy vast selections of Zinfandel and Zinfandel blends, as well as a Wine Country Auction featuring unique items only offered during the Zinfandel Festival.  

Artisan Bread School (ABS) is expanding its fourth season to include classes in the United States and UK in addition to its courses in Italy.  Classes (100 percent handmade breads without use of mixers or machines) are taught by boutique baker Carl Shavitz and are scheduled as follows:
