Afternoon tea offers a variety of hand-picked teas (13 blends to choose from ranging from aromatics herbal infusions such as lemon verbena and mango rooibos or green teas with high antioxidant content, and oolong leaves known as a wonderful digestive. Traditionalists might opt for the fully fermented teas such as Darjeeling, Earl Grey or English Breakfast), an array of sandwiches such as cucumber and minted Neufchatel sandwiches, heirloom tomato and goat cheese napoleon, pinwheels of oolong tea-smoked salmon with dill and avocado; freshly baked sconces and clotted cream with homemade orange marmalade and strawberry jam followed by delightful pastries, some with a Miami flair such as tropical fruit mousse cake and dulce de leche religieuse. For high tea with a kick, there are tea-infused cocktails like the Mountain Berry-infused martini and the pear green tea vodka, or the more traditional glass of champagne, mismosas or Kir Royal.
