LA COFRADIA’S EXECUTIVE CHEF AT JAMES BEARD FOUNDATION JUNE 13, MENU AVAILABLE IN MIAMI JUNE 14 – 17

Jean Paul Desmaison, Executive Chef of La Cofradia () will prepare a dinner at the James Beard Foundation (167 West 12th Street, New York, New York) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13. The Wines of the World/Foods of Peru dinner is a co-production with J. & F. Lurton Wines and is priced at $90 for members and $120 for non-members. For those who cannot make it to New York City, the Wines of the World/Foods of Peru Dinner will be available at La Cofradia, June 14 – 17.
Hors d’oeuvres: Sole tiradito in yellow chili and mandarin cream; Asian style tuna tartare paired with Champagne. First Course: salmon carpaccio and caviar in lemon cream sauce; second course: baby octopus in Tuscan ragout; Third course: black grouper in sour orange escabeche, mashed yucca with red peppers and extra virgin olive oil; Fourth course: braised lamb shank with purple corn rice with sautéed artichoke hearts and green asparagus; and a dessert sampler. 2525 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Coral Gables. PERRICONE’S MARKETPLACE & CAFE OFFERS SUMMER SPECIALS
Perricone’s Marketplace & Cafe offers three summer specials through the end of September. 'Ten for Ten': 10 entrees for only $10 each from Monday-Thursday, 4-8 p.m.; 'Two for Tuesday': two sandwiches—served on fresh baked baguettes -- and two sodas (coke, diet coke, or sprite) for $10, runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every Tuesday; and 'Ladies Night': every Wednesday, ladies receive complementary champagne, Bellini or red or white wine with each entree from the regular menu. SUMMER DISHES AT TOUCH RESTAURANT, SOUTH BEACH
Executive Chef Sean Brasel of Touch Restaurant and Lounge offers a summer menu with new addition such as imperial blue crab cake and scallop with blood orange reduction, heirloom tomato horseradish jam and tarragon hollandaise; lobster ravioli and slow-roasted prime beef- prime deckle steak; truffle french fries with parmesan; "macaroni and cheese” with truffle and Boursin cheese. SUMMER DISHES AND CHILDREN’S MENU AT MOROCCAN NIGHTS, SURFSIDE
Exotic dining for children? Moroccan Nights’ owner David Sultan has created a separate children’s menu with kid friendly Spaghetti Marinara ($7.95); Plain Couscous ($5.95); and a choice of Chicken, Salmon or Beef Kabob with a side of French fries ($10.95). There’s a new dessert menu and outdoor seating with hookah pipe smoking for adults. Moroccan Nights is open Tuesday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight.
