STARTING IN AUGUST MIAMISPICE RESTAURANT MONTH EXTENDS TO SEPTEMBER.
In its third consecutive year, the fine dining program MiamiSpice offers specially-priced lunches at $20.04 and dinners for $30.04, excluding tax and gratuities, at more than 50 top restaurants in town. In addition to donating part of the proceeds to Taste of the Nation, American Express will donate $0.10 of each American Express Card purchase at participating restaurants to United Way. Miami Spice Restaurant Months will give diners a chance to sample chic culinary hotspots such as: Azul, Baleen, Blue Door, The Capital Grille, Chef Allen's, China Grill, Dragon, The Forge, 1200 at the Biltmore, Norman's, Ortanique-on-the-Mile, Pacific Time, Tuscan Steak, Abbey Dining Room, BleauView at Fontainebleau Hotel, Carmen the Restaurant, Christy's, Escopazzo, Metro Kitchen + Bar, Novecento, The Prime Grill, Shula's Steak House at the Alexander Hotel, SushiSamba Dromo, Acqua at the Four Seasons, Dilido Beach Club and Americana at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach, Bernie's Steak House, The Biscayne Bistro, Café Seventy One, Chispa, Duo Restaurant, Emeril's, Grass, Isabela's at JW Marriott, Mundo, North 110, Ola Miami, Perricone's, and Tamara at The National Hotel, Tangerine, Touch Restaurant & Lounge, Preston's, Mosaico, Ivy Restaurant & Lounge, Bice Ristorante in Coconut Grove, 1220 at the Tides Hotel, as well as dozens of other restaurants throughout the county. July 30-August 8, Key West Food & Wine Festival,
A SUMMER WEEK FULL OF EXPLORATION OF FOOD AND WINE
West between Friday, July 30, and Sunday August 8. Thirty six events combine sheer fun with cocktails and sunset dinners, wine dinners, lobster dinners, cooking classes. On August 1, 4:30 to 7 p.m., the 10th Annual Master Chef's Classic - one of the Keys' favorite gourmet events in benefit of the Monroe Association for Retarded Citizens - includes tasting the cuisine of ten of the Keys' finest restaurants and chefs such as Alice Weingarten of Alice's Key West; Executive Chef Matthew Cox and Sophia. Square One Restaurant; Chef Michael Mosi of Antonia's Restaurant, and Chef Gail Brockway of Old Town Mexican Café. "SUMMER SURVIVAL" WITH COOKING CLASSES & LUNCHEON SERIES AT CAFÉ BOULUD
Beginning Saturday, August 7th and continuing each Saturday in August, Café Boulud's Chef Zach Bell, Pastry Chef Rémy Fünfrock, Wine and Beverage Manager Levi Dalton and General Manager Matthew Dahlberg will host a Cooking Class and Luncheon Series including a behind the scenes tour of the multi-million dollar, state of the art kitchen and 600-bottle wine cellar at Café Boulud, cooking demonstrations, tastings and a 3-course private luncheon with summer wine pairings. Students will take a gift bag with recipe cards, stainless steel kitchen tools from the new Daniel Boulud Kitchen collection and Frederick Fekkai Salon and Spa product samples and 20% discount cards.
