NORTH ONE 10 NOW OPEN ON SUNDAY
Dale and Chef Dewey LoSasso have now extended the hours of operation of their restaurant to Sundays from 6-10 p.m. with an à la carte menu and a good selection of wines by the glass. FIFE VINEYARDS WINE DINNER AT NORTH ONE 10. Dale and Dewey LoSasso are preparing a multi-course dinner Monday, January 24, 2005, featuring Chef Dewey's cuisine paired with wines of Fife Vineyards, hosted by winemaker Dennis Fife and Karen MacNeil the author of "The Wine Bible" and The Chairman of the Wine Department at The Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley. There will be a preview of Karen's new show on public television Wine, Food & Friends with Karen MacNeil. 7:00 Reception 7:30 Dinner. CAFÉ BOULUD NOW OFFERING WEEKEND BRUNCH
Café Boulud's three-course brunch designed and prepared by Chef Zach Bell is served Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 2:30 pm. The three course menu ($25) includes for starters, a chilled Farmer's Market Soup or Seasonal Fresh Fruit and Yogurt with homemade Granola, and offers main course brunch classics such as Homemade blueberry pancakes with Vermont maple syrup and country pork sausage, as well as the All-American - three eggs cooked your way served with Felt's Family country ham and Oakview Farms cheese grits. There is roast chicken Cobb salad with fresh corn, avocado, tomatoes, blue cheese, lardons ; duck hash with crispy Yukon gold potatoes, duck confit and a poached egg, steak frites "au Poivre". The meal ends with Pastry Chef Rémy Fünfrock's meringue citrus cake, upside down chocolate soufflé served with pistachio ice cream or warm bread pudding. WOLFE'S WINE TASTINGS AT BOOKS & BOOKS CORAL GABLES
Jeffrey Wolfe, the merchant owner of Wolfe's Wine Shop on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, is now the head wine guy at the Café at Books & Books in Coral Gables. Every third Wednesday of each month, starting January 19th, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Jeffrey Wolfe will be on hand to discuss 10 of the most interesting wines in his wine shop.
