Third Annual BOCA BACCHANAL Winefest & Auction

Boca Bacchanal Winefest and Auction is a food and wine celebration weekend affair:
Friday, March 18 - Vintner Dinners
Superb vintner dinners featuring celebrated chefs and prized vintners, set in historic sites, private residences and grand estates in Boca Raton. The dinners will take place at 10 sites, each an outstanding venue which displays Boca Raton's distinctive character.

Saturday, March 19 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM - The Grand Tasting "Luncheon Revelry on the Green" offering wine seminars presented by Michael Weiss of the Culinary Institute of America. Stroll, taste and enjoy delicious food "by the bite" created by 20 of the area's top chefs and vintners from around the world. To the sounds of live music. Mizner Park.

Saturday, March 19 - Auction and Dinner 6:30 - 7:30 PM Silent Auction, Reception, 7:30 PM Dinner,8:00 PM Auction at The Boca Raton Resort & Club, The Historical Society will also present its first Boca Bacchanal Awards of Excellence to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the enjoyment of food and wine.This year's recipients are celebrated Italian cookbook author, teacher and culinary consultant Marcella Hazan and legendary vintner Warren Winiarski, of the famed Stag's Leap Wine Cellars in Napa Valley.

A gourmet lunch with three choices, three courses, Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., is what Biscaya restaurant offers its patrons to stay on schedule. Chef Alfredo Patino's specialties include onion soup, salmon with fennel ragout, grilled filet mignon or chicken paillard sandwich and desserts: Key lime pie, assorted sorbets or an international cheese platter. To celebrate the recent addition of a full service bar, Pascal's on Ponce offers a party, Faire la Fête, every Wednesday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m with specially priced cocktails including the Nathalie, a Champagne and peach liqueur named after his daughter, live music with guitarist Roberto Obergon and complimentary hors d'oeuvres.
