A TASTE OF ANDALUSIA FOOD FESTIVAL BRINGS SIX CHEFS FROM SPAIN TO THE INTERCONTINENTAL MIAMI JUNE 6 TO 11
From Monday June 6 to Sunday June 11 the Intercontinental Hotel Miami will host “A Taste of Andalucia” in partnership with Diego’s Restaurant, Coral Gables.
Throughout the weeklong festival six of Andalucia’s top chefs will showcase the food of Andalucia, Spain. Every day a different Andalusian city’s delicacies will be featured at lunch and dinner by TV celebrity chef Manolo Rincón; José Domingo Oneto from Cadiz; Francisco Afan del Rio from Córdoba, Juan Matinez Lao, Antonio Jesus Caballero Sanchez and Francisco Javier Cobos Martin from Seville. Every night the flamenco group “La Tropa” flown in from Seville will entertain diners at the InterContinental’s Indigo Restaurant. The event will culminate with an Andalusian Sunday brunch on June 11th.
Prices for the event start at $25 for a buffet lunch to $49 for a four-course prix-fixe dinner with a la carte specialities ranging from $30 to $50. Sunday brunch: $29 for adults and $15 for children from 6 to 12. Children under 6, free of charge.

ASIAN COOKING INSTRUCTOR ELEANOR HOH LAUNCHES HOH WOK CLUB
Eleanor Hoh will hold the first "Hoh Wok Club" gathering at Mr. Chu's, Chinese restaurant in South Beach, Sunday, June 11 at noon 12pm. for students interested in exploring Asian cooking and culture. Hoh and Mr. Chu created a special sampler at a fixed price menu ($25 per person) with a variety of dishes -- dim sum, fried noodles, fried rice hot & sour soup and even Mr. Chu's award winning Peking Duck. WEDNESDAY HALF-PRICE WINE BOTTLE AT TIRAMESU AND LE BON,SOUTH BEACH
Every Wednesday until October two South Beach restaurants: Tiramesú at 721 Lincoln Road, 305-532-4538 and Le Bon at 723 Lincoln Road, 305-673-3266 are offering a half-price bottle of wine. Year-round, from 5:30 to 7 p.m both restaurants offer diners a selection of “Beat The Clock” dishes priced at the time of ordering (from $5.30 to $7).

AT MORTON’S STEAKHOUSE MARTINIS, NIBBLES AND ROMANCING THE STONE
Starting May 18 at 6 p.m., Morton’s Steakhouse is offering a nationwide prix-fixe Martini party ($35) with filet-mignon sandwiches, jumbo lump crab cakes and hot chocolate cake for $35, with a chance of winning a $10,000 1.5 carat pear-shaped diamond. The next party will take place at Morton’s North Miami Beach on June 16, and in Boca Raton on June 20. The finalists will be invited to dinner for a last chance to win the stone. www.mortons.com

NEW ORLEANS COOKING EXPERIENCE “GREAT CHEFS SUMMER SERIES” KICKS OFF ON JUNE 8, 2006
The New Orleans Cooking Experience today announced the line-up for its second annual “Great Chefs Summer Series” featuring chefs from some of New Orleans’ finest restaurants. Classes are held each Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and begin on June 8th with Chef Frank Brigtsen of the famed Brigtsen’s Restaurant and continue each Thursday throughout the summer. The classes, limited to 12 students per session, are available at a special 2006 discount rate of $150 per person for each class and students can make reservations for one or several classes. Brigtsen, who also teaches year-round with N.O.C.E., will anchor the program and teach several of programs throughout the summer.
