MANGOS RULE! CHEF ALLEN'S MANGOS RECIPE CONTEST LAST DAY ENTRY 8/31
Come summer, and for years now Chef Allen Susser of Chef Allens Restaurant in Aventura has feasted on what Floridians consider their birth right: Mangos.
For millions of people around the world, the mango is a comfort food nourishing body and soul. Mangos are fabulous fresh but reach unparalleled heights when cooked. The fruit can absorb spice, heat and fire with no loss of sweetness or character; or be eaten icy in a refreshing sorbet. Star anise, coriander seed, clove, vanilla, turmeric, and cardamom all marry well with mango and spicing mango can create simple or deeply complex flavors.
You can win a dinner for two at Chef Allens restaurant, a signed copy of Chef Sussers Great Mango Book or of The Great Citrus Poster; or receive a gift certificate for your choice of 3 Chef Allen's sauces if you email your favorite mango recipe to: Chef@ . Last Day for entry is August 31st, 2006. Winners will be notified by email

With a nod to the past and a leap into the future, Robert Mondavi Winery will celebrate 40 years of the innovation, achievement, and spirit of leadership that Robert Mondavi brought to wine and food in America, with three days of nimble minds, eclectic palates, and provocative ideas--and of course, fine wine and marvelous food.
