 Saturday, November 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Ortanique on the Mile will be hosting a special Thanksgiving leftovers themed cooking class.Guests will have a chance to learn how to prepare Chef Cindy Hutson’s Thanksgiving dishes: Sweet Potato Bisque with marshmallow crema and candied pecans; Turkey a la King Pappardelle with sweet peas, carrots, sweet potato and button mushrooms; and Snicker Doodle Cookies with apple pie ice cream. Each course will be complemented with champagne or wine. The class is limited to 24 people and the cost is $108 per person.

Chef Ursula teaches boys and girls ages five and up kitchen safety and knife skills as well as table setting and manners.  The Chefs will also plan and prepare their menu each week, culminating in a Dinner Party in the last week.  Each Chef is allowed to invite two guests to the Dinner Party. The forty-five minute class is a four-week session and costs $100 plus a $30 materials fee.  The materials include recipes, apron and plastic chef knife (child-safe).
