Chef Kriss Wessel to open Florida Cookery at the James Royal Palm Hotel, Miiami Beach PDF Print E-mail

The James Royal Palm Hotel in Miami Beach has appointed James Beard Award nomineed Chef Kris Wessel as  Chef/Partner of Florida Cookery, its signature restaurant scheduled to open October 2012.  “We couldn’t be more pleased to bring a much needed authentic and local restaurant to The James Royal Palm and South Beach,” said Sims Foster, Vice President of Restaurants and Bars, Denihan Hospitality.

The restaurant will provide a casual, yet artistically inspired, environment and the menu will reflect Chef Wessel’s passion for the use of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients in Florida style of cooking: local, fresh, and unpretentious. Menu items include Frog Legs Bathing in Lime Leaves, Lychee Roasted Quail and Mango Pie.

Florida Cookery is located within The James Royal Palm at 1545 Collins Avenue.
